FBCYICN – Federation of BC Youth in Care Networks

As a youth-driven organization, we provide programs and services as guided by our youth membership. We try to ensure that our programs are available to young people across the province and not duplicating other services that are already available in the province for young people, instead connecting them to those existing services.

Our programs are open to all youth in and from care in B.C. between the ages of 14 and 24! All participants are welcome to engage however feels comfortable: as a participant, as a voting member, or taking on volunteer and  leadership roles.

Together as youth, alumni, staff and board members, we provide programs and services that help British Columbia’s young people in and from care:

Advocate: Learn about rights and unite their voices on needs, issues and ideas to create positive changes to the system.

Connect: Come coming together in a safe, supportive environment for friendship, to meet supportive adults and to engage in exciting opportunities.

Empower: Explore and develop goals, skills and talents, and receive one-to-one adult and peer support.
