Program Coordinator 

 

Position Type: This is a permanent, full-time position, subject to continued funding.   

Location: Remote within BC. Please check out our home-based office guidelines.

Summary: Program Coordinators develop, plan, and implement programs, events, and projects that align with our organization’s mission and goals. This may involve creating materials, proposing staffing requirements, creating and maintaining budgets, fundraising, procurement, community outreach and partner development, staff and volunteer coordination, participant engagement, reporting on progress, and evaluation. This position is essential to the Fed being able to provide engaging, relevant programs for youth in and from government care. Do you enjoy working in partnership with youth? Wages:  $60,970 (35 Hours Per Week) 

Benefits: Upon completion of probation period, successful candidates receive four weeks paid vacation; 6% of wages contributed to an RRSP; wellness time; comprehensive health benefits. 

Start Date: January 20, 2025 

Schedule: Full-time. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional, planned evening and weekend hours.

Summary: Help plan, promote, and implement programs, events, and projects that align with our organization’s mission to improve the lives of youth in and from government care in BC. 

This is a peer-based position for youth in and from government care between the ages of 15-28. Program Assistants help to plan, promote, and implement programs, events, and projects that align with The Fed’s mission and goals. This can involve creating materials, identifying costs and resources needed, community outreach and partner development, participant and volunteer engagement, reporting on progress, and evaluation. This position is essential to the Fed being able to provide engaging, relevant programs for youth in and from government care. Do you want to make a difference for youth in and from government care? Administrative Assistant  

 

Position Type: This is a permanent, part-time position, subject to continued funding.    

Location: This is an in-office position. The Fed’s offices are located at 360 – 555 Sixth Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 5H1.  

Summary: This is a peer-based position for youth in and from government care between the ages of 15-28. Administrative Assistants are essential to the operational success of our organization, and supports us to provide engaging, relevant programs for youth in and from government care. Specifically, this position supports our day-to-day operations, including being a first point of contact with the public. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, being detail oriented and organized, and navigating competing demands. Do you want to make a difference for youth in and from government care?
