Connect with other youth from care in your community

Why Join a Local Youth Group?
Local Youth Groups give young people an opportunity to meet new people in their community, participate in fun activities, build new skills, and unite their voices to create change in the systems that affect them. There are currently 14 Locals across BC, supporting youth in and from care.

Start a Local Youth Group
Local Youth Groups are a partnership between youth, community organizations, and the Fed. Didn’t see a Local in your community? Starting a Local just takes a few passionate individuals with support from the Fed and a local host agency. Get in touch to start a Local in your community!
“I’ve made friends where I never would have previously! People of all walks of life of varying ages attend [my local], and I’ve been able to make connections with people who’s life experience differ from mine. It’s very enjoyable.”
