How long have I been a member of the Fed?

Two really great years

Why did you decide to join up?

I became a member because of the connections I made at my first SCM (shout out to Brittaney for telling me about it)

What would you say to to a young person who is considering getting involved with the Fed?

Do it, becoming a part of the Fed was one of the best decisions of my life. It has opened so many doors for me, and the support system is incredible

What is your favorite Fed memory?

My very first SCM and the SCM held at UBC, both because they really represented how accpeting everyone that is a part of the Fed is. My very first one I was treated like family, I never sat alone and everyone just accepted me for me. The one at UBC we had so many new members that were shy and scared just as I was at my first one. You see everyone come together by the second day of the retreat, doing eachothers make up, dancing and singing. It was absolutley wonderful and will always be a favorite memory for me.

How has being involved in the Fed impacted your life?

The Fed has impacted my life in many ways. They have helped me with personal struggles, helped me figure out important things to know about being an adult. I have gained an amazing support system through the Fed, they are people I can always turn to in times of harship.

Which of the Fed's programs is most important to you?

The SCM's are definitley the most important to me. It is always such a beautiful thing to see youth come together and feel like they are no longer alone.
