Policies provide clarity and guidance within an organization and help ensure that people are treated fairly. Below are some of the key policies that support our work. If you have questions, please reach out.

Values Code
This is a set of values that was developed by the Youth Leadership Council. The Fed Values Code holds all members, alumni, staff, adult supports and board to a standard of behavior when participating in events and activities put on by the Fed.
By Laws
Approved by our membership, our Bylaws are the official rules that guide how the organization is run and how important decisions will be made. They are the most important rules at the Fed and they require member involvement to change.
Duty to Report
This policy explains how staff and volunteers at the Fed have a legal responsibility to report child abuse and neglect under the Child, Family and Community Service Act.
Confidentiality Policy
This policy outlines which information is kept confidential and what confidentiality means to Fed staff, volunteers, members, and participants.
Privacy and Protection of Information Policy
This policy ensures the protection of personal information through compliance with BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other legislation.
Medication Policy
This policy ensures youth medications are stored and distributed safely at all events.
Media Consent Form
This form allows people to give media consent, and explains how media of an individual can be used if consent is provided.
