Create community for youth in and from care!

The Fed strives to help communities create spaces for youth in and from care to come together, build connections, have fun, and create change. Locals are run through a host agency in the community and supported by the Fed.
Locals have access to funding ($4,000/year), and the ability to use the Fed name and logo. We help the local group establish a budget, create an annual plan and follow the Values Code. Other benefits include:
- Working and building relationships with other Local Youth Groups across BC
- Building and sharing knowledge of community resources across the province
- Helping create a safe and fun space for youth in and from care
- Expanding understanding of how to work with youth in and from care
- Promoting local activities through our website, e-news, social media, and our magazine, Power Pages
