Young people are unique, and so are their support needs! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are ready to help youth in and from care ages 14-24. We offer four core services as part of our YOUth Support program!
Fed Coaching: We are excited to talk with young people about their life, strengths, challenges, and dreams. During regular check-ins, we support young people to build and act on a plan that will help them reach their goals.
Social Connection: At the Fed, our staff are also here to just connect, chat, share a laugh, or empathize. Young people don’t need a reason to get in touch – we are always happy to hear from them. We value relationships and want to stay connected!
Advocacy Support: We teach young people about their rights and help them have their voice heard. If young people feel they’ve been treated unfairly, or their needs are not being met, we can support them to prepare for a meeting, access a complaints process, develop their self-advocacy skills, or connect with an advocate.
Navigating Resources: Our knowledgeable staff support young people to navigate the community resources available to youth in and from care. Whether they are looking for an education bursary, housing, or want to connect to a counselor – we can help young people access the supports they need. Get in touch to connect to the resources below, and more!
