Care Beyond Care

The Care Beyond Care Campaign is about building awareness of supports for youth leaving government care!

#CareBeyondCare

Youth and their allies have been advocating for decades to improve supports for youth transitioning from government care. The Care Beyond Care campaign sits within this larger movement. We honor and celebrate what has been achieved and we know there is still work to be done.

Our Butterfly

For youth leaving care, the journey to adulthood is a time of great change and transformation. Like the butterfly, that undergoes an amazing metamorphosis, young people are emerging into a new phase of life.

We use the butterfly in our materials to represent:

  • Personal growth and transformation,

  • Supports for youth leaving government care,

  • And solidarity with young people navigating their pathway from care

Help build a Butterfly Kaleidoscope to support youth on their pathway from government care. You can even enter to win prizes! #showusyourwings

You can also show your commitment to Care Beyond Care by pledging your support!
